"Trigeneration" at efficiencies now exceeding 90%, is the simultaneous production of cooling, heating and power, in one process. ALLAN JONES MBE "WORLD LEVER"

Allan Jones MBE is a pioneer in CHP Combined Heat & Power / Cogeneration and CCHP Combined Cooling Heat & Power / Trigeneration and was awarded an MBE in the new year's honours list of 2000, for services to energy and water efficiency.

During the 1980's he started working at the Woking Borough Council as the council's energy services manager, director of the council's Energy and Environmental Services Company Thamesway. In 1990, two year before the Rio Summit, he took his initial CHP proposal to the borough council. By October of that year, the proposal effectively became policy. 81 decentralised energy systems had been install in the borough council area by the time of Jones departed in 2004. In 2001, Woking won the Queen's Award for Enterprise for the development of local sustainable energy systems. London Climate Change Agency

In 2004, the then Mayor of London, Ken Livingston recruited Jones to head his new climate change initiative. Jones has headed the London Climate Change Agency since that time.

On 22 May 2008, Jones appeared in an interview, shot in London, as part of Australian ABC's "Catalyst" program (2008 Episode 14). The story featured the LCCA's plans for implementing decentralised energy systems in London. This lead to Jones being invited to visit Sydney as a guest of the City of Sydney and the New South Wales state Environment Minister. A public talk 'City Talk: Green Transformers, revolutionizing energy generation for a Sustainable Sydney' was held on Tuesday 22 July 2008 at the Theatre Royal, MLC Centre, King St, Sydney. The visit also included media coverage, like that on ABC Radio National's Saturday Extra program.

In 2010 Allan Jones MBE is in Sydney Australia working with Sydney Mayor Cover Moore and Sydney Electricity to determine the best course of action for the City of Sydney.
